Thereafter you'll see Conca dei Marini where will be possible to visit the "Emerald Grotto" that is a sea cave, flooded with a brilliant blue or emerald light, the grotto is home to an underwater nativity scene, made of ceramics by an artisan from nearby Vietri in 1956

Our trip to the Amalfi coast was exceptional, and custom made for our interests. Alessandro worked with us prior to the trip, helping us to organize an itinerary for 5 full days of of touring. Private touring offers flexibility to see exactly what you want, at your own pace. We are spoiled after this trip, and do not want to travel any other way in the future. Our family of 5 did an all day excursion of the Amalfi Coast with a private driver ( Domenico ) and we had an incredible day. Domenico picked us up at our hotel right on time and we began our incredible all day tour. What an amazing guide Domenico was. He pointed out so many things that we never would’ve seen without him and taught us so much about the area and taught us to speak a little Italian as well. He drove very safely through the winding mountain roads and was extremely familiar with every stretch of the road and every part of Positano and Amalfi. We saw more and learned more with Domenico in one day than we could even imagine and it definitely is the highlight of our Italy vacation. We highly recommend this tour and and suggest you request Domenico as your guide.
