    By around 09:30 AM you will arrive in Agra and meet your tour guide. After that you would proceed to Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal is a wonder build in the mid of the 16th century by 5th Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal.

    12:00 PM - Visit the Agra Fort (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D., this huge fort is made of red sandstone. The elegant buildings inside reflect an interesting synthesis of Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles. The maze of the courtyards, mosques, and private chambers of the fort echo the story of the Mughal Empire. 1:30 PM - Lunch will be provided at a 5 Star Hotel. 3:00 PM - Free time for shopping in Agra (optional), which is known for its fabulous handicrafts made of marble and soft stone inlay work. The Mughals were great patrons of the arts and crafts. Empress Nur Jahan took a personal interest in the arts and was an accomplished artist herself in zari embroidery work. Agra's major handicraft products besides inlay work are leather-ware, brass-ware, carpets, jewelry, embroidery work, and more.

My wife and I did a trip to Tajmahal and It was an excellent trip. We enjoyed every bit of it. Tajmahal is a beautiful historical site and its well worth it. We also enjoyed lunch and shopping after visiting Tajmahal. Our guide ”Pawan” educated us on lot of history about Tajmahal and provided us very good recommendations for lunch and reasonable shopping places. We truely enjoyed his company to Tajmahal and his recommendations for lunch and shopping places. We definitely recommend the trip to Tajmahal and this tour including services of Mr. Pawan. We would certainly like to visit Tajmahal and Agra again to see other historical sites.
