We will offer other cable car possibilities from 01.09.2025 DUE TO CONSTRUCTION WORKS it is not possible to book tickets to skywalk in advance and it could be long line in high season to get to Skywalk(first come -first serve principle).     OPTIONAL: Visiting of Salt-mines. It takes appx. 3,5 hours from time of you tour in Hallstatt to visit Saltmines. You need to take cable, and then walk uphill 20 min to reach Saltmines. Tour inside cave will take 90 minutes and it is all walking tour with a lot of stairs. Then you need to walk down. In total 3,5 hours. It is not for people with claustrophobic or walking or back health problems. . Tickets to be paid in advance and separate 43€ Adult, 20€ Child 4- 15 y.old. It also includes Skywalk. PLEASE MESSAGE US WITH BOKING IF YOU WANT THIS OPTION (to make a tickets reservation in advance). CLOSED FROM 1.9.2025 due to construction works!

We had the most wonderful day trip to Hallstatt with Anna. She is very knowledgeable about the area and showed us so many great places along the way. We even had a chance to stop and have lunch in a lovely place while viewing the last glacier in Austria. Our tour was May 16 and the weather was perfect. No jacket needed. We also had a lovely private boat ride on the lake in a traditional wooden boat. Anna arranged this for us too. She’s an awesome tour guide!
