Discover in a full day private sightseeing tour one of the most beautiful village in Holland: Giethoorn the Dutch Venice! You will have a guided canal cruise in a large boat or you can drive a small boat by yourself. Please inform your driver/host what you prefer. After Giethoorn you will go to the windmills, the countryside and a local cheese and clogs factory. You will visit a unique Dutch park called the Zaanse Schans not far from Amsterdam. Here are the most special windmills of The Netherlands such as the paint windmill, the sawmill, spices mill and peanut oil. Thereafter you will see how we make the original Dutch clogs and there is a possibility to buy clogs/wooden shoes and souvenirs. The next stop will be at the Henri Willig farm where they will teach you how they treat their cows and there is a possibility to see how they milk the cows and you can see and touch the baby cows. Thereafter it is time to taste more than 30 types of very nice Dutch cheese for free!

You can visit the paint windmill (that is where Rembrandt the great Dutch artist purchased his paint), a saw mill, a spice mill and many more. Admission to the windmill park and parking costs are included in this tour.

    See a real Dutch farm with cows and baby cows. You will get an explanation how the Henri Willig farm makes their cheese from the milk of the Jersey cows. They have an automatic milking robot and see how they milk their cows automatically. After the cows it is time to taste their special Gouda cheese. You can eat as much cheese as you want for free! There are more than 30 different types of cheese so enjoy! There is a possibility to buy the cheese and if you don't have enough room in your suitcase you can let them ship the cheese to your country.

Gavin was great - he gave us the time we desired at each location and also offered the option for a private boat tour which he helped reserve before we got to Giethoorn.

Loved the information provided and the trip to the cheese shoppe and wooden shoe. All arrangements were handled professionally and courteously. My favorite was the trip To Geithorn. Fabulous!!! The boat ride was lovely and they did all that was possible To make us comfortable.
