Walking through Girona is like going back to the 15th century. The restorations are beautiful. So photogenic! St Felix’s cathedral is magnificent sitting along the River Tar.
Costa Brava is situated on the Mediterranean Sea along a rocky coastal shoreline. Had a great lunch watching the waves roll up the beach.
Everything enhances by our guide Mario. Very interesting and entertaining on this full day excursion. Highly recommend him as a guide.

We wanted to see these locations for their history and beauty. Both objectives were accomplished and enhanced by our very interesting and knowledgeable guide, Mario. Girona had special importance for its medieval reconstructions. I felt like I was walking down a street in the 15th century.
Our guide was very informative pointing out many details of the buildings and history of the churches and cathedrals.
We especially liked to see where the Game of Thrones was filmed and the Jewish quarters.
We found out that Mario is also a great photographer. He helped us find beautiful vantage points for pictures. And he took great photos of us.
Costs Brava is a beautiful location. We ate lunch in a terrific restaurant, and even though there was some traffic on the ride back to the hotel, Mario made it seem short with his interesting conversation.
I highly recommend this tour. Especially with our guide Mario.

I was told by a friend that a trip to Costa Brava while visiting Barcelona was her favorite tour. So this was a tour I really wanted to do even on a rainy day. We had a wonderful tour and saw so very much, including Girona, PALS, and the beautiful coast and countryside. ! Our guide, Tony, was great! He was prompt, friendly, courteous, and spoke English well. He also was a really good driver on this rainy day! I appreciate his flexibility too as we were able to stop and spend as much time as we wanted at the different sites. I’d do this tour again if I had the chance. It was a great day!
