Although other structures are located within the area, the location is today associated almost exclusively with the Mortuary Temple of Ramesses III The temple, some 150m long, is of orthodox design, and resembles closely the mortuary temple of Ramesses II (the Ramesseum). Our guide Soosan was great, Valley of the Queens is very quiet since the Tomb of Nefertari was closed for renovation, but well worth a visit anyway. Habu Temple is a hidden gem, not as popular as the temples of Luxor or Karnak, but in some ways better than both. Valley of the Artisans was very good too Private visit

This site is so great and not touristy….. it has gorgeous colours and tumbs….. If you love Egyptology and want less croud, you are in the right spot. Our guide was very caring and very happy to do her job….. She knows everything about the site….. well done… we had a great time

We really lucked out getting this tour guide, he was so passionate about Egyptian history. It was such a good experience getting the private tour with him, it is completely worth it. You can go at your own pace and ask questions freely without feeling like you are being rushed, he was so patient and the way he answered our questions was very enlightening. This guide is very educated and especially gifted in tying in the symbolism of the various Egyptian gods / goddesses which provided me to have a deeper perspective and impression of what Egypt was like.
