Great tour! 100% recommend. Diogo was friendly, punctual and super knowledgeable about the island. We were a family with a 2.5 year old and he was great with him! A fab way to see the island in a short space of time. Thank you!

We chose Diogo for his remarkable perfect score on reviews. Initially we booked a half day but planned to adjust the trip once we started. Diogo was true to his perfect rating. We removed the touristy sites and added a walk along a Levada and Pico do Areeiro to be above the clouds. Diogo cares greatly about Madeira, and provides great information about any subject you can ask as a question. He is an excellent driver. There was always a feeling of safety with his conduct. His English was very good. After the trip Diogo suggested a great restaurant for a late lunch. We wish we had gone there for a more substantial meal at Adegar do Pomar. His Van is a Mercedes in very good condition. Don’t think too long on your choice. Go with Diogo and you are guaranteed a memorable day where you learn a lot about Madeira and its people. Invest in a private tour and support the local people.
