    Then visit The Karnak Temple Complex, commonly known as Karnak, comprises a vast mix of decayed temples, chapels, pylons, and other buildings near Luxor. Construction at the complex began during the reign of Senusret I in the Middle Kingdom (around 2000–1700 BC) and continued into the Ptolemaic period (305–30 BC). At the end of the tour start drive you back to your hotel, airport or train station.

I had prepared for this tour after studying student level egyptology for last two years. I had seen videos, read books, attended zoom lectures and held hard copy notes for reference I loved my young guide, she is local to Luxor and has committed herself to her ancestory and culture. She is calm and knowledgeable and presented herself very well and at my pace. we interacted well, what I wasnt sure of we could discuss and share opinion and that is very important of a tour - a professional guide with knowledge of her subject and ability to share You cannot come to Luxor without visitng these temples, use a 5 day luxor premium pass also ( $200 US - Im English but found the US dollar handy) - temples plus valley of kings via pass pays for itself You cannot really visit the temples without a guide, you will miss too much - but my young lady was brilliant and highly recommended
