    The tour starts in front of the Meiji shrine. We then would admire Tokyo's most impressive landmarks Yoyogi gymnasium by Kenzo Tange from the distance. We will stop by at the contemporary and unique fashion boutique architecture such as The Iceberg, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Tod's, Sunny hills and Prada. By taking a side trip to see the backstreet neighborhood, we could appreciate the different aspects of the area and be amused how diverse the area is. We will stop to sit to have a short break while walking and enjoy some conversation.

I decided to take this tour after doing some research before my solo trip to Japan. I am an architecture student, so i thought that a guided tour would be helpful in many aspects like navigation and information on the architecture. I am very glad that I had this tour!! Eriko-san was my tour guide and she was very knowledgeable and patient on our tour. I enjoy to sketch so she was patient and allowed me to draw the spaces we visited. If you are looking for a tour while you are visiting Tokyo, this is a great choice! Thank you Showcase Tokyo Architecture Tours and Eriko-san for an experience that I will remember forever :)

Wundervoller Tag in Tokio der für uns zugleich unser erster Tag in Japan war. Spontan hat Haruka mit uns zu Beginn einen Stop beim Meiji-Schrein gemacht, da wir zuvor noch nie in einem Schrein waren. Anschließend hat uns Haruka durch versteckte Gassen zu außergewöhnlichen Gebäuden geführt. Dazu haben wir viel über sie Gebäude, Architekten und über das Leben dort erfahren. Außerdem hatte sie wertvolle Tipps für unseren nächsten Tage in Tokio. Die Organisation war ebenfalls super. Vorab haben wir alle relevanten Informationen erhalten und den Treffpunkt problemlos gefunden. Hier wurden wir sehr herzlich von Haruka empfangen. Vielen Dank für die tolle Erfahrung!
