Our tour guide, Gaetano, is not only a sommelier, he is also a genealogist and has a passion for history, so not only did he educate us on wines from two different wineries (one small and one larger), he shared his passion for the area we visited. And between wineries, which was in addition to the tour, he took us to a gelato shop to cleanse our palate. I highly recommend this tour. Many thanks to Gaetano.

This was my second, my husband's first tour with Gaetano Petrillo and The Wine Bus! While Gaetano is still working on my genealogy we went on a wine and food tour. We met the owners of two of the most beautiful wineries in the Irpinia wine making region. Wine tasting in Italy is nothing like in the US. Be ready to drink plenty and enjoy wonderful food! We loved Antico Costello and Sell Della Spine! We ordered lots of wine and were a little drunk after the tour! Be ready for Gaetano to tell you all about the surrounding area that is just beautiful!
