Your private guide will pick you up from your hotel or appartment on an agreed time. You take a pleasant an hour and half ride in a comfortable air-conditioned car to the southern of Lake Balaton. Here you take a ferry boat from Szántod to the Tihany Peninsula, home to an 11th century Benedictine Abbey. The promenade next to the abbey offers a great panoramic view over the lake. You get to know the legend of the Echo and the goat hooves of Tihany. Balatonfüred is a short drive than afterwards, which was a popular resort for many famous Hungarian writers and artists whose magnificent villas has been turned into museums. You take a walk along the pretty Tagore Promenade to see the Kossuth fountain and the well known Cardiology Sanatorium. Here your private guide will invite you than for an unforgettable wine tasting with a lunch. Afternoon your private guide takes you back on the north shore of Lake Balaton to your hotel or appartment and you relax on your way to the capital.

    Had a wonderful time at Csopak wineries, excellent wine, knowledgeable host, beautiful views. Tour guide was also very knowledgeable, comfortable ride, had a lunch at a the local place in Tihany with the incredible view of the Balaton lake.

    I traveled already a lot to the lake Balaton but I would never imagined how many hidden treasures there are. We got an outstanding tour from our guide who waskind during the whole excursion, was always happy to answer all of our questions. He has a huge knowledge and not only about the area but the wines as well. I can only recommend to travel with them. Looking forward to all our next excursions.
