My friends and I are from Malaysia, we booked 4 days private tours with Hyur after reading so many good reviews. I would say these tours were as good as what had been reviewed. It was a wonderful and joyful experience to have Kach as our guide for 2 days. The tour was well organized. Kach was very knowledgeable about the history and stories of the monasteries and minority tribes, we we’re fed with overflowing facts, I wonder how he could just talk about history so fluently, he spoke good English and tried to tell in a simple way to let us understand better. I would say we were just so so so lucky to have him to bring us around. Apart from that, he was responsible and took good care of us without losing us in the crowded place.
And our driver, Artur, nice and respectful man, we were very very lucky to have Artur to drive us around for all four days. After some experience with other drivers in Yerevan, you would know what I meant by having a skillful, serious and cautious driver is important. Artur was a polite and fun gentleman yet responsible for our life during the trip.
You will not regret to have them guiding your trip.
Our tour flew by unnoticed, although it was marked 8-9 hours. Adults and children liked it. Recommend our guide Anait - a treasure trove of useful and interesting information???? Comfortable car on our company of 10 people, and very careful driver Haik. Thank you ????

I gave it 4/5 because of the problem with the LUNCH SERVICE (I’ll explain later). So we took this private tour to TSAGHKADZOR, ROPEWAY, LAKE SEVAN, SEVANAVANK, DILIJAN, HAGHARTSIN, GOSHAVANK. I hope I got all of it right! Our driver for the second time was Hovik (great personailty and a fantastic driver) and our tour guide this time was Nazeli (Naz). Naz was incrediable. After a while we asked her how long she had been giving tours and it was just for a couple of weeks. However, she knew so much for we found out that she used to be a journalist. So, she was full of information. She was an excellent guide to be with. This was our 4th and last tour of Armenia and our 2nd private tour. We had done 4 tours in 7 days. We had very little down time, but it truly gave us a chance to see so much of Yerevan. Lake Sevan was breath taking. Now, just something that might help others…when we signed up for the trip, nowhere did we see how to choose our lunch for the day. We did not know we had an option. Naz told us that when we signed up for the trip, we were to write in (somewhere?) what we wanted to eat for lunch. However, no options were given. So, we got to Lake Sevan and we had a private room to eat lunch in which was great (outside of the flys that made it in). BUT, we were given BBQ (BURNT) fish with so many bones you could not count them. I personally gave up after a couple of bites. My husband and brother, tried as best they could to eat around the BURNT pieces. Naz brought the Hostess/ Chef? to me and asked if I would eat pork or some other meat dish, but it would take 20 min or 10 min. (I thought if they are rushing, it may not be fully cooked), so I declined and I said I would eat the salads. Well, I then go to eat the eggplant salad, and low and behold, I pull out a gray hair from my mouth. I’m a brunett, so….Let’s just say, lunch for me was very unappetizing. Hyur Service needs to be better about letting people know what the food options are ahead of time, and see if they can’t change who they partner with food-wise at Lake Sevan. We were all disappointed with what we were given to eat.
It was good we had snacks with us, because it was a very long day. Hovik was kind enough (on our way back) to ask if we needed to stop and pick up anything to eat or use facilities before the long trek back.
The Ropeway was great to do and the colors of autumn were just coming out. Dilijan was a little disappointing. The town reminded me of Idyllid, CA. And I wanted to stay there longer, but the street that Naz planned to take us down was closed off. :(. So, we did not see as much of it as we could have. All in all, it was a very disappointing lunch, but a most EXCELLENT tour. Kudos to Naz and Hovik for making our day extra special.
