We had an amazing time with Mr Tang.. this was the perfect food tour for us as we wanted to taste all the local favs . Along with the food tasting he also gave us information about the history , culture etc of Singapore . Recommend to do this trip at the start of your holiday

We are a group of 6 adult that all agree this tour was the highlight of our trip. We enjoyed being introduced to foods and flavours that we wouldn’t have ordinarily chosen. Song Fa, was a particular favourite for everyone. Sam, our tour guides, knowledge of the food we were offered was extensive, but it was how he combined that knowledge with local history that made the tour special. You could feel how much Sam loves Singapore and its vibrant and diverse culture and cuisine. The food we were offered was wonderful. The flavours unusual, but delicious. We loved every bite. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed the ambience/atmosphere of Chinatown in Singapore. But, the rest of it was disappointing. There were very few cushioned seats in the restaurants. That was a huge problem for me. The restrooms were not clean. There was no toilet paper in the toilets. Some places had vendors who sold TP, but others did not. Some toilets, as in a number of countries were holes in the floor where individuals needed to squat to do their business. Not good for someone with bad legs. Restaurants did not provide napkins for some reasons. We didn't get to the chicken/Michelin experience, but the rest of the food in Chinatown left a lot to be desired. At least that which was touted as excellent. We didn't go to any upscale Chinese restaurants which I expect would have been far superior. I thoroughly enjoy Chinese food so the disappointment was great.
