  • Alpine Coaster Oberammergau, Oberammergau, Bavaria, Germany
    Should you want a bit more adventure on your tour we can substitute one activity ie. Ettal or Oberammergau and do this once in a lifetime Alpine Coaster. Thing rollercoaster but with brakes that you can use at any time to slow down. Top speed is only 25 miles per hour and to get there, we take a very slow but scenic chair lift lasting 20 minutes to get you to the top of the mountain. From there you have phenomenal photo opportunities of the town and then surrounding Alps. Let you guide know on the day of your tour and he will make it happen.

I am writing to express my utmost satisfaction with the incredible tour my family recently experienced with Mike's Private Tours. I have had my fair share of guided tours as an avid traveler. Still, none have come close to the exceptional service Mike's Private Tours provided during our visit to Neuschwanstein Castle, Linderhof, Ettal, and Oberammergau. My son and I took this tour with Sigmund and we truly had the greatest time in Munich all to this amazing person. We enjoyed every minute we spent on this tour we enjoyed the ride there with all the information he was giving us, the hike up the mountains seeing the castles and the ride to the restaurant in Austria was so beautiful. The food was so AMAZING we were stuffed and had food coma! The fish is catch of the day and is fresh and very delicious.Then the ride to Linderhof and seeing the beautiful scenery and castle was a life experience I would recommend all my family and friends to try. Oberammergau was a beautiful town very quaint. My son is 15 and not a lot excites him but he loved this tour out of all our summer holiday tours!! So I would really recommend that everyone tries this tour and all my thanx and appreciation to Sigmund for cheering us up (we were very upset we lost our luggage) and doing a phenomenal job on this 8 hour tour.
