This is a great tour and Antonio was a fantastic guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and made us very comfortable on our private tour with him. He taught us a lot about the history of Seville (and how it fit into the broader history of Spain), shared numerous fun facts with us, and made the places we were visiting really come to life. The tour itself is excellent. Antonio told us that Seville’s Plaza de Espana was recently voted the 2nd best tourist attraction in the world in some survey (after the Taj Mahal) and it’s easy to understand why after visiting it. We enjoyed going through the University, which uses some of the old tobacco industry buildings, and the Alcazar of Seville was, in our opinion, even more beautiful and well-preserved than the Alhambra on a room-by-room basis (noting that the Alhambra is much bigger and does have beautiful gardens that aren’t matched anywhere else in Spain). The tour ended with him taking us through the incredibly impressive Seville cathedral, with the tomb of Christopher Columbus.
