My popular "Nuremberg WW2 Combo tour", covering the "Rally Grounds" to "Room 600", is a great way to learn about not only the immense proportions of the "former nazi party rally grounds" and the megalomania of the National Socialist regime but also about the "Nuremberg Trials" which was the forum for what is often referred to as "The Trial of the Century". It's a really great way to round out your Nuremberg WW2 knowledge.
What you'll see
During this tour, we will start by visiting the "Luitpold Arena" site, the "Congress Hall", "The Great Street", and the "Zeppelin Field". Afterward we will drive over to the "Justice Palace", where "Room 600" is located, and learn about the first serious attempt to adjudicate State leaders accused of war crimes.

It was great tour. Kevin was really knowledgeable and helped us make the most of our day. He also made recommendations post our tour for exploring the Old City Nuremberg.

Kevin was excellent at putting into perspective the sues in relationship to the time.
It was so interesting standing in the footsteps of evil..
Kevin made sure we had the full experience of the courtroom 600 and understanding the Nuremberg Trials.

We chose this tour with Kevin because of his many positive reviews but feel compelled to warn others that this is not the best choice for a tour in Nuremberg. He was on time, but immediately upon getting into the van he began an ongoing modern political litany unrelated to the history of Germany. Instead of the historical tour we expected an unwanted and unrelated blitzkrieg of political ranting ensued. Kevin was in all honesty unprofessional: at one point we exited his van and he devolved into a rage describing and swearing about a man he guided from the previous day who had shut his van door too hard. If that wasn’t unpleasant enough, what was supposed to be a 4 hour tour was rushed into 2.5 hours. He would hurriedly walk out to a site, stand in one spot, flip through photos in his book and head back to his van. We asked at one site if we could walk around to see more he said yes but walked back to the van instead of accompanying us: It would certainly have been nice to continue to be informed while exploring the various sites. While we were on our way to the last of the only four sites, he received a call from the next group he was guiding and confirmed he would be meeting them at noon ( our tour was paid from 9am-1 pm). We did tour on a Tuesday when the Nuremberg courtrooms were closed but all he did was drive by without stopping or much discussion. I don’t know if he had something he was trying to attend later and rushed the groups though so he could finish his day early, or what the issue was, but we concluded that although we felt cheated out of 1.5 hours we paid for, we were grateful to be out of the uncomfortable stress of Kevin’s tour.
