800 Decatur St, New Orleans, LA 70116, Verenigde Staten We love the food of New Orleans - from cajun to creole (yes there is a difference) to the sweet beignets of Cafe du Monde - our hint - don't try and get a table, just go to the takeout window and proceed to your next stop. 15 minutes
The Moonwalk Riverfront Park, New Orleans, LA 70116, Verenigde Staten This part of Louisiana was originally settled because of its critical location on the Mississippi, come see the mighty river and learn about the history. 5 minutes
French Market, New Orleans, Louisiana, United States Some of our favorite places in cities are their public markets, and New Orleans is no exception with incredible food and art jumbled together in the eclectic center - explore away! 10 minutes
Old Ursuline Convent Museum, New Orleans, Louisiana, United States While currently closed due to the pandemic, you'll peak through the iron gateway to see the oldest building in the city - built by the French king - and home for centuries to cloistered nuns. 5 minutes
Beauregard-Keyes House, New Orleans, Louisiana, United States Just across the street is the Beauregard-Keyes House, one of the best preserved examples of 1800s architecture in the city. 5 minutes
Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop Bar, New Orleans, Louisiana, United States We could spend the entire tour talking about this one area. First, as one of the oldest structures remaining in New Orleans, this epitomizes "Creole Cottages" and as one of the oldest structures remaining in New Orleans, is rumored to be haunted several times over! 5 minutes
New Orleans Historic Voodoo Museum, New Orleans, Louisiana, United States Voodoo is not about dolls and hexes. In fact, it is one of the oldest (and most misrepresented) spiritual beliefs in the world. Originated in Africa, the global diaspora of voodoo is complex and mystical. 5 minutes
Royal Street, New Orleans, Louisiana, United States The art and of New Orleans represent the agglomeration of cultures that influenced this part of America, from African sculpture to French Rococo - and the modern galleries along Royal Street are a feast for the eyes. 10 minutes
Pirates Alley, New Orleans, LA 70116, USA While it is unlikely that pirates actually hung out beside the cathedral and city hall, this street does have quite the history of intrigue and scandal, from Andrew Jackson to William Faulkner. 5 minutes

When I purchased this I thought we would be listening to the information. Turns out you have to read it, kind of a pain when you’re traveling with others.

We were so impressed with all the stops, but especially the French Market. There is so much to do in New Orleans, this tour actually helped us figure out other things to do during the weekend we were in the city. The friends I traveled with also liked it!
