Put on your snorkeling gear and descend under the crystal-clear turquoise waters and immediately find yourself transported into an underwater paradise on this fun and interactive water excursion. In these shallow waters of Catalina Bay you will brush up on your snorkeling skills as you spot angel fish, damsel fish and more swimming around sea fans and coral. New to snorkeling - not a problem! Your experienced captain and guide will patiently work with you to make sure you have a safe and enjoyable experience. We can accommodate up to 10 people on our Bayliner. Every extra hour is $125.00 per booking. Please let us know if you would like to add extra time. The balance can be paid in cash on the beach, on the day of sailing

Our beach hut is located on Palm Beach behind the Holiday Inn. Once you reach the Holiday Inn Hotel, walk through the lobby towards the beach. Make a left on the footpath and you will see us on your right.

We offer a free pick-up service with our shuttle boat from all high-rise hotels. Please let us know if you wish to use this service. You will be picked up on the beach of your hotel with our shuttle boat.

Directions from non-high rise hotels
When you take a taxi from your hotel to our beach hut please you can tell the taxi driver the destination is the Holiday Inn Hotel. Your meeting location is an approximate 1-2-minute walk from the entrance of the hotel. Once you reach the Holiday Inn Hotel, please walk through the entrance of the hotel and after about 20 steps, you will reach a garden where you will continue to walk through until you reach the beach area. Upon reaching the beach, please make left on the footpath and walk about 10 meters (33 feet) and you will reach the beach hut for Octopus Aruba, where you will see representatives dressed in orange shorts and white polo shirts.

  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Booked a private snorkeling tour with Octopus and had a great time. Our captain/guide/bartender Gio was terrific. He brought us to a couple of the popular snorkeling spots where we were able to see a lot of fish. He even helped one of our party get back to the boat when the person got tired. Highly recommend!

The trip was excellent and well worth the money. Geo was excellent. Will take a private snorkeling tour again with them next time we are in Aruba!!

The day was perfect with a boat ride to a private area to snorkel. We were near other snorkelers, but far enough where we had little interference from others. The waters were clear and perfectly refreshing. Our fabulous guide and Aruban extraordinaire, Gio, ensured we would be provided with plenty of refreshments (ie: rum punch, water), masks and flippers (though we brought our own full-face masks) and a safe area for the best views above and below the waters. After 40+ minutes in one cove with a microcosm of fish, sightings of sea turtles peaking their heads above, we moved onward to deeper waters where an incredible, ghostly view of a sunken WWII cargo ship, SS Antilla, laid at rest. Gio never let us stray far and kept us adrift from other boats and tourist groups. Exactly what we hoped for since it was a private tour. The last bit of our excursion was to the other end of the beach which allowed us to air dry during the ride. We disembarked at our starting point with a great memory of Aruba. We booked a private tour to be clear of the menagerie of humans. Yes, it is a tourist zone, though Gio did provide us an area void of as much chaos possible. Request Gio when you book this trip. He is a 6th generation Aruban and knows every inch of the island, lifestyle, culture. No questions unanswered, honestly!
