Our favorite day in Crete! Come hungry, the wine and food pairings are excellent and Areti was a great host.

We took the tasting tour of two estates with Areti our guide. Despite terrible weather (rain, wind), this day was extraordinary. Areti is a true professional. She knows the world of wine perfectly and knows how to share it and discover it with passion! She knows how to adapt to the tastes and desires of her customers. We felt free to ask him any questions we could. It is a real exchange and not a formal "guided" tour for commercial purposes. We are never encouraged to buy wine or other products. On the other hand, if you want to make purchases, it is very good advice without recommending the most expensive products. She picked us up directly from our hotel and dropped us off at the end of the day. His vehicle is very comfortable, and his driving is careful and assured. Wine tastings are accompanied by mezé and dishes so we are not intoxicated...!! We highly recommend this visit to all wine lovers, but also to all those who want to discover the terroir of this Crete, generous and beautiful land. This was our favorite thing to do in Greece. The countryside in Crete is very beautiful and the vineyards we visited were beautiful. Areti is a wonderful teacher and we learned how to recognize the aromas of the wines and how to appreciate the subtle nuances and flavors of the wine in our mouths. She chose excellent vineyards which provided wonderful pairings of food that went with our wine tastings. I would spend the money and do this wine tasting event with Areti again and again. My husband and I loved it.
