You will visit 3 castles during the day and make many photo stops in front of the most emblematic ones such as Château Palmer, Château Margaux, Château Beychevelle, Château Pichon Baron, Château Lafon-Rochet, Cos d'Estournel ...

The Médoc, which stretches over 80 km, is a peninsula that takes shape north of the Bordeaux agglomeration and ends at the Pointe des Graves. The wine route, which crosses it, is long and winding and offers you time to discover a mosaic of plots, dotted with castles of very different styles, sometimes flamboyant, sometimes romantic, sometimes austere. You will be amazed by this legendary route.
Chateau Dauzac, Labarde, France Dauzac is the first Château which borders the legendary Route des Châteaux. Fifth Classified Growth in Margaux appellation.
It was his steward who invented the "Bordeaux porridge", made from copper sulphate and water. Still used today, this treatment is one of the few authorized in organic farming.

Until the 19th century, the Léoville estate was one of the largest and oldest crus in the Médoc. The vineyard stretched from Château Beychevelle to Château Latour. Divided into three parts, the Châteaux Léoville Las Cases, Léoville Barton and Léoville Poyferré remain today.
The guide of the castle will share with you the secrets of the work of the vine, the different techniques used for winemaking and the methods of aging in oak barrels.
At the end of the visit, you will taste the wines of the estate.

My husband and I planned a last minute trip to Bordeaux and Catherine was so wonderful to work with. She planned the perfect day for us even on such short notice . She knew the perfect places to visit .The guide , Margaux was great as well. I lucked out finding this company online and am really happy we decided to do this tour .
