    Pickup from hotel in Hoi An or Da Nang, drive to Marble Mountain (in Da Nang), discover the stunning Âm Phủ cave inside Marble Mountain with your local guide to learn how Vietnamese soldiers used to hide and fight in the wars. The cave was also a secret hospital to save wounded soldiers. Walk 150 steps or take the elevator to the peak of Marble Mountain. Knowledgeable guide will show you the best highlights so you don't have to spend too much energy but still see the hidden beauty that most people miss. You will admire the rustic charms of historical pagodas, Buddhist statues and shrines, which are a few centuries old. Local believers and monks pray here often. You will lean interesting local beliefs and Buddhism.

There are beautiful flower and bonsai gardens, and viewpoints to capture amazing snap-shots of Da Nang city and its beaches.

Our local buddy was Thanh, we didn't go in the Jeep as local Da Nang restrictions are in place so new car with aircon, way better at the end of day. Hitting 37/39 and sun was out so bless them for knowing better..Our driver was on the ball ! always a little closer than expected which was fab after walking the gardens and temples.. My cousin & I had a great day, we hit all the favorite spots, Thanh was knowledgeable, engaged & a good story teller, many temples and kingdoms ..some story's just stick with you. Lady Buddha, monkey & marble mountains, the view from where Confucius sits is amazing. We were shown the beautiful organic gardens in Hoi An. This was a highlight for us both as we both cook. I will be back here one day soon. Great food, lovely people. I've invited our buddy & his wife to NZ anytime, return the hospitality one day maybe? I recommend Local buddy tours, we feel like we have a good mate in Hoi An without a doubt! Happy days to all that can spare the time!!

We enjoyed the tour thoroughly. Sunny our tour guide was very helpful, entertaining and patient. He was easy going and took care of us, never rushing us and flexible to our needs. He was also very informative about the places we visited and answered our questions about Hoi An, Da Nang and Vietnam in general. The trip was very comfortable and curated for easy climbs and best lookout point views.

We had a fabulous day, having never been on a private tour before we were not sure on what to expect, but it was the best experience we were shown different locations and the tour could change to suit the traffic/ weather would highly Recommend doing it this way!
