    Early in the morning our guide will pass by you and we will go to the south of the city along the Avenue of the Volcanoes, so called historically since, if time allows us, we will be able to observe hills and volcanoes such as Pasochoa, Corazón, los Ilinizas among others until we reach the Cotopaxi National Park where we will register and enter.

    After learning more about the history and curious facts about the Volcano, we continue in the transport until we reach the Refuge Parking, from here we will walk until we reach the José Rivas Refuge

    After an exciting hike in the Volcano, we will arrive at the José Rivas Refuge located at a height of 4862 meters above sea level. Here we can have a hot chocolate and stamp our passport.

    We walk back to our transport and we will go down from the Volcano to the Limpiopungo Lagoon, through which we will take a short walk and observe the birds that inhabit there.

    We leave the National Park and go to the town of Lasso where we will have time to have lunch in one of the oldest colonial haciendas in Ecuador, with more than 400 years of antiquity and history.

Our personal guide and driver were the perfect team to share a day of exploration in Quito. We were introduced to the natural beauty of the landscape in and around the Cotopaxi National Park. Cotopaxi volcano itself was a standout among the rows of volcanoes that surround Quito. A number of bird species were on the Limpiopungo Lagoon and many interesting plants were identified for us along its shores. A surprise was the amazing rose industry in Quito. Learning about the production and export of these beautiful flowers was a treat.

El tour era privado para 2 personas. Destaco el chofer Henry muy buen chofer, el vehiculo nuevo y muy puntual.Eso te da seguridad. El guia Andres amable, sin embargo al inicio quiso dar su version del tour, el tour incluia visita al refugio y a una hacienda , desde el inicio nos dijo que si ibamos al refugio no nos daria tiempo de ir a ver el cultivo de rosss Aceptamos el cambio sin embargo me parecio desagrable que quisiera cambiar los detalles al inicio. Solo porque leo lo que pago, recomiendo tener claro los servicios que deben darse Despues de conversarlo, aceptamos no ir a La Hacienda y almorzamos en restaurante en carretera. En fin no puedo dar detalles de la Hacienda ni de la caminata al Refugio en el Parque Cotopaxi porque no lo realizamos El lugar donde cultivan las rosas te dan un pequeño tour, muy bonito. Solo vimos lLa Laguna, caia ceniza, ahi el guia nos explico sobre la vegetacion etc, lo mismo en el museo del Parque y en carretera. Tanto el guia Andres y el chofer Henry muy amables, te dan mucha seguridad. Les recomiendo este tour!!

We traveled to Cotapaxi with our guide and driver and had a wonderful time! Both were professional, friendly, and the perfect traveling companions. The volcano did not disappoint and the lake was gorgeous. We even got engaged while here! Highly recommend this tour.
