We only had 1 full day inThessaloniki and wanted to see as many things as we could. This trip to Vergina and Veria and our guide Ian was perfect for us. His knowledge of the ancient greek history was remarkable! We visited the museum of Aige and the macedonian royal tombs. He was a fun guide and the tour exceeded our expectations. The lunch in Veria city was great too! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this trip and Ian.

After many years of anticipation, we were finally able to tour the tomb of King Philip, II. Our professional driver and guide, Yanni, shared so many fascinating facts and figures. As an archaeologist with numerous degrees, he is a credit to the company. We highly recommend him. Thank you, Yanni. M and D

Tombs and artifacts were fascinating. Sights in Veria were interesting as well. George was a very good driver, and willing to share information about what life is like for Greeks today despite his difficulty with speaking English. However, he is definitely not a guide. No information was volunteered of historical content.
