The tour includes 2 of the most famous sights in Armenia. Garni temple is the only Greco-Roman style temple in the territory of Armenia. Geghard (meaning "spear") is a medieval monastery, being partially carved out of the adjacent mountain, surrounded by cliffs. It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site with enhanced protection status.

  • Garni Temple, Garni, Armenia
    Garni is the only pagan temple in the territory of Armenia, dating back to the 1st century A.D. Nearby the temple there are the ruins of intricate mosaic baths. The view of the Garni Gorge is simply breathtaking. Along the sides of the gorge are cliff walls of well-preserved basalt columns, carved out by the river Goght. This portion of the Nature’s masterpiece is typically referred to as the “Symphony of the Stones”.

  • Charent's Arch, Garni, Armenia
    The Arch of Charents was erected in 1957 and named in honour of one of the most famous Armenian poets Eghishe Charents. They say, Charents loved this place and used to visit it frequently. The arch itself is just an arch, you may even wonder, why this place is a “must-see”. But from the Charents Arch opens a breathtaking view on mount Ararat, probably one of the most stunning views of the Biblical mountain.

  • The Monastery of Geghard, Geghard, Armenia
    The monastery of Geghard contains a number of churches and tombs, most of them cut into the rock, which illustrate the very peak of Armenian medieval architecture. The complex of medieval buildings is set into a landscape of great natural beauty, surrounded by towering cliffs at the entrance to the Azat Valley.

Simply I have to say we have been lucky to get the service from your agency. There are so many positive impressions but I have to underline the e experience at the restaurant near temple and delicious soup cooked from Ofelia. We impressed from Lavash preparation; UNESCO heritage . Thx to all; Ofelia, Christina, Amalia, Aref, Tamara and Artag.

This was a nice way to spend a day in Armenia. My driver Artyom clearly loves the beauty of Dilijan. He was eager to show it to me, as well as Garni and Geghard Monastery. We took a fun boat ride on Lake Sevan and visited Sevanavank. There was more. I truly feel that Artyom showed me a side of Armenia that I could not have seen elsewhere.
