Enchanted SINTRA
Sintra bears marks of the Celtic era, the Roman empire, the Arab occupation and the golden age of the kings who chose Sintra as their destination for long seasons. Therefore, we invite you to embark on a trip to the past and come with us on a guided tour of the enchanted world of Sintra.
About the enchanted, lush and mystical SINTRA…
One of the first townships of Portugal, Sintra is connoted as a place full of mystery, magic and mysticism. Classified as a Cultural Landscape - World Heritage by UNESCO, we can say without hesitation that in Portugal there is no place like Sintra. Located at the foot of the Serra de Sintra and covered by woods from the four corners of the world, it has a microclimate. Don't be surprised to find Sintra covered with fog and climate cooler than in Lisbon, which is only 30 km away.
Cabo da Roca is 18 km west of Sintra. It is a rugged promontory that marks the westernmost point of continental Europe.
Afterward you will discover Cascais.

About the Full-Day Tour SINTRA, Cape Roca and Cascais private and to your measure…
Your tour is private and was created from our experience in the visits to Sintra in recent years. In the meantime, the itinerary presented on the tour can be changed if you have a preference in choosing the monuments to visit or other Sintra attraction.
Duration of the trip from Lisbon to Sintra about 40min (30km). 40 minutes
Park and National Palace of Pena, Sintra, Portugal Pena National Palace, located at the top of the Sintra mountains and the fruit of the dreams of an artist king, D. Fernando II, the Pena Park and Palace are Portugal's finest examples of 19th century Romanticism. Must stop for those visiting the romantic and mysterious Sintra Village. After visiting the Park and Pena Palace, composer Richard Strauss wrote:"Today is the happiest day of my life. It's the most beautiful thing I've seen. This is the true Klingsor Garden – and there, up on high, is the Holy Grail Castle." 120 minutes
R. Padarias 1, 2710-603 Sintra, Portugal In the time between visits to the monument and the village, you can stroll through the narrow winding streets in the old town where you will find a variety of restaurants, shops with typical articles of the region and the famous “Piriquita” Tea House, known for their delicious regional pastry called "Travesseiros de Sintra", a must for anyone visiting Sintra. 30 minutes
Farol do cabo da Roca, Sintra, Portugal Experience Cape Roca. This cape forms the westernmost extent of mainland Portugal and continental Europe. The famous Portuguese poet Luis de Camões wrote in the XVI century that this cape is: “Where land ends and sea begins". The windswept cliffs of the Cape Roca were believed to be the edge of the world. 30 minutes
Guincho Beach, Cascais, Portugal Part of the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, Guincho Beach is endowed with a surrounding landscape of great beauty in which the white sand dunes contrast with the deep tones of the Serra de Sintra hills, looming in the background.
Given both its strong winds and waves, the Beach attracts a great following among bodyboarders and surfers. Throughout summer, there is generally a good northerly wind ensuring Guincho is excellent for windsurfing. 10 minutes

Where to start?! First, I’ll say all communications with the company were answered right away. I hate when companies don’t respond. Next, they were on time for everything - another plus! Then our guide — Pedro. What a great guy, knowledgeable, friendly, happy to please and make any adjustments to your private tour that you want. Nice, clean and spacious Mercedes van.
Our group of 8 booked Pedro to meet us at the cruise port at the end of our cruise and take us to Sintra and surrounding towns. We spent the whole day with him and saw SO MUCH that we would never have on our own or by train. We enjoyed this day with Pedro so much that we booked him again 2 days later to do a private tour to Evora, vineyards and surrounding towns. That was really my favorite day!
I highly recommend you use this company for all your needs in Lisbon, it was truly a joy!

A Filó passou meses lapidando os detalhes de nosso roteiro, e o Pedro foi maravilhoso no acompanhamento do grupo, atento a cada detalhe para que tudo corresse perfeito. Recomendo demais!!!
