Wonderful guided tour with Jorge! From the start he explained to us exactly where we were going and showed us a brief historical/geographical breakdown on the map. Our guide was warm and friendly, he explained locations and routes, and shared facts about the area. The entire time with a positive demeanor. Wonderful guided tour with Jorge! Our driver Jose spoke great English and was very personable. The lake and surrounding forest is beautiful. Please know that all visitors to the lake are only allowed to travel as a group with a guide: The tour is in Spanish only so we felt trapped occasionally. It would be lovely if they let non Spanish speakers roam freely or have audio tours in multiple languages. Still, we loved this trip.
