We started the day without much expectation and in the end it was great! Mousa entertained us all day and was there with heart and wit. The Jeep Tour went a total of 5 hours offroad across the dunes. The stops at the museum and the viewpoints were both informative and spectacular. Our guide Mousa was able to tell us a lot about the bones and fossils lying there in the interior and exterior museums. We want to thank you for an unforgettable day in the desert.

I wanted to do something different other than a history tour and see a bit of nature so I booked this tour. We did everything as described although never got to do sandboarding as both me and the tour guide forgot about it. Lunch at the village was really tasty. The whale museum was incredible with so many fossils to see. Really good video in the museum explaining everything. You can swim in magic lake if you want to, so take some swim wear with you. You travel around the area by jeep although it's more of a necessary transportation rather than an adventure ride. Majority of the area is quite flat with a few fun sections to get up higher to the viewpoints but definitely don't expect to be flying over lots of sand dunes. Left Cairo at 7am and got back by about 5pm. Time is based on me not doing sandboarding or swimming in the lake.
