He is buried near the church which he himself built in 1188. Haghartsin Monastery, Dilijan, Armenia The monastery of Haghartsin dates back to the 10th -14th centuries. The name is translated as “the play of the eagle”. I went to a solo tour with Driver Grugen. He was punctual, safe driver and very gentle.
He was very helpful in communicating with me using a translator and making sure I was comfortable in the car. Everywhere I went was a picturesque world and I am very satisfied. The tour price is reasonable and I highly recommend this tour.

Took two hours including a private tour - both were excellent and made it easy to see a lot of key sights of Armenia in a short space of time. One of the people in my hotel says I’ve seen more places than him and he was born in Armenia :)
