We meet our guests at their "doorstep" - at all hotels/vacation homes in town and at the city pier or main train station. Within 3 hrs. you'll see mayor attractions – Belvedere Hill, vistas and garden; Soviet Memorial and French Embassy; a short tram-ride takes us past Staatsoper to Burggarten ( Franz Joseph and Wolfgang); Maria Theresia still rules her square; Heldenplatz was the stage for Hitler’s “Anschluss” speech in March 1938; classy shops the route from Hofburg to Stephansplatz and St. Stephen’s cathedral. We are a family of 4 from London and visited Vienna, Budapest and Prague in August 2025. We went on a private walking tour of Vienna with Schindl tours. Alex, our tour guide communicated proactively prior to the trip. He picked us up from the hotel, showed us around the must see locations in Vienna, shared some great stories and history. Alex was mindful that we had a gentle walker in our group and adjusted the pace and itinerary accordingly. I have no hesitation in recommending Alex and his company to take you around Vienna.
