Ramon was incredible! Best part of the trip was that there were no Frida tickets and we got a tour of the National Anthropological Museum instead. Still learned about Frida while on the road even went by the house/museum. Time was much better spent at the anthropl museum though. The walk through the Coyoacān market was neat but too brief. Could have used a couple hours there. Xochimilco is too commercialized at least the main side. Perhaps the eco side is better. The main side is all about party boats. Think Mexican spring break. Boats full of parties blasting music and drinking profusely. Can not imagine what it’s like at night!

This was an excellent private tour. They showed up early, and they had plenty of bottled water for the whole day. We had Bruno as the the tour guide and Arturo as the driver, and they provided two excellent days of touring. (We also did the Teotihaucán/Basílica de Guadalupe tour with them the previous day.) Bruno is very knowledgeable about history, and he did a great job explaining the sites that we visited. My son, a recent college graduate in history, talked non-stop with Bruno about history and archeology. We also had some great discussions about politics, religion, art, and food. I personally really enjoyed ALL the art on this tour-UNAM and Juan O'Gorman, the Diego Rivera Anahuacalli Museum, and of course the Frida Kahlo Museum. We enjoyed eating lunch in the Coyoacán market. This tour was awesome because we never felt rushed or pressured to move to the next site. In my opinion, it's worth the extra money to have the personalized attention and detailed information, and I would highly recommend this tour and this tour group.
