Mohamed messaged upon arrival where he would be with a sign to collect us. He had water available for us. Friendly, helpful and a careful driver he delivered us safely to our hotel.

When you exit the madhouse that is the Tunis-Carthage airport you enter a space in which people will come up to you and offer you rides to your destination. The chances of being ripped-off are dramatically higher if you don't secure a taxi ahead of time. This service is one of the best, although admittedly, it is pricey. Our driver waited for us as we tried to get through security and customs, texted us about where we were and where he was, and held up a sign with our names on it so that we could recognize him immediately. The taxi was large, clean, comfortable and equipped with water bottles for our pleasure. The driver was fluent in English, and a safe driver. We made it to our destination quickly and safely. Yes, you can get a better price by hailing a cab, but with the security and the safety that this service provides--it's worth the price.
