Thanks to the special access permits to the port, we will be able to get right under your ship. For this reason it is important to specify the name of the ship as well. When you get off the ship at the scheduled time in the reservation, you will find our driver waiting for you with a name recognition sign. He will help you with the transport of your luggage to the vehicle, which is still parked near the ship. We had two groups on two different cruises at two different parts of the port. Our driver was on time and handled the multi pickups. He got us to Rome on time for our tour and gave us some good highlights.

I made a mistake on the date when booking the service, I put a day earlier than Cruise arrival date so the driver came and left a day early. Even though it was my mistake which happens when you are on a Cruise for 8 days you mix up dates, but as a professional travel service Viator and the professional local tour operator could have checked the arrival date of the cruise ship and should have brought to my attention, that would have gone a long way and I wouldn't have lost $ 278, but they did offer a small refund of $65. Finally we end up taking a private shared Mercedes minivan with less than half the price of what I got from Viator. Next time if you are not in a hurry and do not need a private vehicle you can get transfer very cheap and not much hassle also. When I gave specific Cruise name, again I wish both Viator and tour operator checked the arrival.
