Choice of luxury vehicle according to number of people in your group. You have the car and the guide at your disposal all day to drive you around and accompany you on a guided walk. Oslo City Center is quite small, and thus perfect for a walk. However, a majority of the city’s highlights are on the outskirts of Oslo, such as the great Vigeland Sculpture Park and the Holmenkollen ski- and recreation area (with the best panorama view of the city!). There is also the "museum peninsula" of Bygdøy, just across the bay, where you will find the open-air Folk Museum, the Fram (Polar) Museum, the Maritime Museum and the Kon-Tiki raft expedition Museum.  There are nice restaurants up in the hills or by the fjord for a lunch and/or dinner break We'd gladly recommend one..

    Polar exploration was important in late 1800 and early 1900. There was a race to conquer the North pole and the South pole. In the Polar Museum you find the two authentic polar ships Fram (-forward) and Gjøa. Rewarded "The best museum in Norway". The most impressive is that we can enter the original 130 years old ship and get the polar feeling forced onto us by the multimedla film above us showing the combined drama of sea, wind, ice bergs and northern light. Close by is also the KonTiki Museum (Entrance KonTiki is not not included unless agreement of OsloPass,)

We take you up to the Holmenkollen hill to see our national symbol of skiing and view of the city. Possible "top-tour" to the ski jump tower (NOK 160 often a queue) and an exciting Ski Simulator (NOK110)

Svein showed us the very best of Oslo in style! He showed us popular places and hidden gems. He explained the history of places we visited and shared many stories. He is very engaging and pleasant. He communicated very well during the advance planning of our visit. Highly recommend!

This was a wonderful day spent with Sven, our guide and driver. He was extremely knowledgeable about Oslo and brought it to life for us. He had perfect English and a great sense of humor. You are able to design your own day or take the tours and stops he suggests. The Mercedes Van is super comfortable and easy to get in and out of. He had water for us. It was just a lovely day. I would do it all over again.

Excellent way to see and learn about Oslo’s history. Our guide, Steiner, shared a wealth of information about the development of Oslo into the beautiful city it is today. I really can’t believe how much we were able to see and do in a single day, and what a joy to not have to worry about the driving. I would do this again on my next visit, hopefully Steiner will be available again!
