    You will be taken to the usually packed museum entrance, where you will meet you private tour guide and, with your "skip the line" ticket, you will skip the huge entry line and access the metal detector check.   All of our tour guides are local experts and have a deep knowledge in art and history. The Vatican was amazing. Our guide was 45 minutes late. We paid for 4 hours and got 3. We paid for an English speaking guide and could barely understand him. We were rushed through the museums. I won’t ever do a guided tour like that again.

Our guide, Julia was knowledgeable, informative and enthusiastic about the Vatican. Our tour encompassed the palace, Rafael rooms, the basilica, Sistine chapel and tombs of the popes. One of the highlights and unexpected part of the tour was seeing the vehicles driven by past and present popes. Julia ensured we had not only a thorough introduction to the history of the Vatican but a wonderful day. This tour was well worth the money we paid for it.
