  • The regular tickets to Salzburg Cathedral will be purchased on the spot. The Cathedral is usually open from Monday to Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm, and on Sunday from 1 pm to 5 pm, but this will vary because the church often organizes concerts and other events.
  • Skip-the-line tickets to Fortress Hohensalzburg provide faster entry without queuing at the ticket office. This all-inclusive ticket includes access to all areas of the castle complex and a round-trip funicular ride. There may be a short line to ride a funicular.
  • Pickup service is available for accommodations / hotels in Salzburg Old Town. Please provide your full address when booking. The itinerary will be adjusted accordingly.
  • If you do not provide your address or your accommodation is more than 1,5 km away from the designated meeting point, the guide will meet you in front of the Marktfrauen-Brunnen (next to St. Andrew Parish Church), Hubert-Sattler-Gasse, 5020 Salzburg, Austria.
  • For the comfort of all guests, it is best to have 1 licensed guide per maximum of 25 guests. If there are 26-50 people in your group, we will provide the service of 2 licensed guides so that all guests can get the best experience, ask questions and hear the guide well.

Our guide was very sweet and knowledgeable about Salzburg but his English was not the best in that he took long pauses to find the right word in English. This made it difficult to follow his conversation. His tour seemed very disorganized.

There were many things wrong with this tour. The design was wrong, 6hrs of walking tour started at 9 or 10 am with no lunch break. There wasn't even any plan when to stop this take a break. Breaks was not planned and from 12 -1 we were in the area without good options for lunch. Based on the tour there wasn't any lunch break. Very boring stories and really we could just walk trough those areas by ourselves. I recommend in Salzburg just walk around and go to landmarks by yourself. Also compare to the other tours we had this was very expensive basically the least value.

Fantastic tour, our guides knowledge of the history, culture and every day life thru decades made us feel like we were walking thru time and back. Very stop was perfect and we were able to request a few stops we had researched previous to tour. Guide was friendly, kind and professional. Would rate it best tour in n our 14 day trip thru the area. He recommended a phenomenal spot for lunch Zwetter’s. Thank you Oberad. The Mungenast family
