White Pocket is a place so remote and amazingly unique that it can feel like you have stepped into another realm where geology decided to bend the rules. White Pocket's geological formation is made of a thin layer of white sandstone lumped up into mounds and cracked into polygonal shapes, somewhat like dried out whipped cream. Under this thin white layer reigns a chaos of yellow, orange and red swirls twisting upon each other. If you are lucky enough to hike there after a summer thunderstorm, you will enjoy a myriad of reflection pools, creating beautiful mirroring effects and infinite opportunities of otherworldly pictures. It is definitely a visual paradise!

This trip was amazing. Jim was our guide and he was absolutely fantastic. He made our day incredible. This spot was not over crowded easy to get shots with no one in your view which was fantastic for such a scenic place. Views were great, ride to the hike was fun and he made the whole day fun and enjoyable for all of us. He even helped us get some awesome photos. If I am in the area again I will definitely look into the other tours they offer and request Jim again.

The guide contacted us before hand & we described our goals & interests. He was totally prepared on time & had our safety foremost. He was interesting and knew the interesting spots to take us. I’d definitely recommend Jim.

Unsere Erwartungen waren hoch, aber Yermo hat sie in allen Punkten übertroffen! Mit einem unglaublichen Wissensschatz und viel Liebe zur Natur, hat Yermo für uns einen wunderbaren und ganz individuellen Tag gestaltet. Er kennt die Landschaften im südlichen Utah wie im angrenzenden Arizona bis ins Detail. Yermo führte uns zu den besten Foto-Spots, den schönsten Aussichtspunkten und zu versteckten Naturwundern, die wir ganz für uns alleine hatten! Noch nie hatten wir einen so kompetenten Guide, der so perfekt auf unsere Wünsche und Interessen eingegangen ist. Vielen Dank Yermo, für diesen wundervollen Tag - was für ein besonderes Erlebnis! (Wir waren so beeindruckt, dass wir uns kurzerhand entschlossen haben, Yermo am nächsten Tag nochmals zu buchen.)
