We had a delightful evening at The Oak Tree Wine Celler. Sergio, the owner, picked us up at our hotel. He was kind enough to answer our many questions during the drive. Sergio was very knowledgeable about the production of the wines he presented. We were fortunate to meet some lovely couples from Norway, Sweden and Florida. Sergio carefully bubble wrapped each bottle of wine that we purchased for our flight back to Germany. The shop was beautiful with an interesting selection of wine and other alcohol from around the world. Sergio offered some very nice cheese platters for purchase to compliment the selected wines. The Oak Tree Wine Celler will even ship wine so we will be able to order more of the very nice wines only produced and available on Cyprus!

The owner picked us up in Ayia Napa it was a very pleasant drive to Larnaka where we drove to The Oak Tree Wine Cellar. The Wine Cellar is really beautiful and cosy. As we arrived we were served a platter of cheese, some grapes and bread. We tasted ten different wines and heard an interessting story to each of them. We had a really nice conversation with him we talked about the history of cyprus how the winemarket developed and other interessting things. After we tasted some great wines he offered us to wait until we took a small trip through the city if we want and so we had the chance to visit Larnaka. After that he drove us back to our hotel and during the trip we had another interesting conversation. So i can fully recommend this location for a winetasting. It is really beautiful and the owner is a real expert he can answer every question, tell some nice stories and is an amazing person. Thank you again for the nice day! A German Couple
