    Tour begins at 1:00 p.m. at Tony DeMarco Statue at the corner of Hanover and Cross Streets in the North End. On Sundays, start time is 11:30 a.m. 1st stop, iconic pizza that TripAdvisor ranked the #1 IN THE COUNTRY TWICE! 2nd stop, an exterior visit to the historic Old North Church, followed by tasting of Best of Boston Sandwich, which is sure to be the best Italian sub that you'll ever eat. Then we'll visit two hidden gems: a THREE-TIME Best of Boston Bread Bakery, and a salumeria that was featured on the Food Network's "Best Thing That I Ever Ate". Last up, a pasta course at an award-winning family-owned restaurant that's a fave with locals and celebrities alike! Oh, and a cannoli for the road, but not just ANY cannoli. An iconic one! We toured with Audrey on a cold, raw, and rainy Sunday. It was a fabulous time!!! I have dined in the North End multiple times but still learned a lot of history and discovered some hidden gems. So much yummy food!!! Audrey is a great guide, I highly recommend.

Our North End Food Tour was a special treat for our last day at the end of a fantastic three week tour to the Eastern cities of the US. And what a finale it was! Five hours (it was meant to be three) of a selection of the very best that Boston's Italian community produces and led by Audrey who is a genuine character, enthusiast, raconteur and member of the local community; she knows everyone and shares a fair old but if gossip. From the little pizza place that won't accept tips to the gelato shop where they won't keep the gelato a second day because its not as good, via bakeries and cake shops, sandwich joints and doggie treats at the fire station (really!) the tour culminates with pasta at a classic Italian restaurant ... but by that time you will be full! Thank you Audrey, what a fabulous way to finish our holiday and we would recommend the tour to anyone.

Audrey is so kind , knowledgeable and hilarious! We had so much fun learning about the North End, its history, and food culture! Audrey pointed out several additional food ideas for the rest of our week in Boston - we are so appreciative! We loved Audrey and this tour!
