Great Pyramid of Cholula, San Pedro Cholula, Puebla, Mexico On the way to Puebla you will have an opportunity to enjoy breathtaking mountains views and make a stop in a little town called Cholula, where you can climb the most unusual pyramid in the world.
From mathematical point of view Cholula´s pyramid is the tallest construction ever made by ancient people. By the governmental orders this pyramid was never fully excavated. Covered by trees and greenery, this pyramid looks more like a mountain with a catholic church and observation deck right on the top of it, where you can contemplate a breathtaking view and take memorable pictures.

Puebla debe ser de esos lugares imperdibles cuando visite la Ciudad de México. A dos horas aproximadamente de distancia. Con paisajes y áreas poco visitadas por los turistas.

It was a two hour drive from Mexico city and it was a very enjoyable drive. We stopped at Cholula first and saw the tunnels and the pyramids. We did not go to church at top. We were given a hour to explore on our own. We did some shopping and walked around the town. Next we went to Puebla. We visited a couple of churches on the tour. My only complaint was we did a lot of walking and this tour was not supposed to be a walking tour. The restaurant we ate at, as part of the tour, was buffet and had very good food. The tour guide was very good. We were glad we did the tour.
