This Eco jungle experience is a culturally unique and animal lover’s dream. Our tour guide’s name was Juan Jose (JJ) and his passion for animals was inspiring. JJ’s knowledge and positive attitude made exploring the Amazon jungle that much more magical. We were in the jungle at the end of September and the weather was a scorching 40 degrees Celsius. Despite the extreme humidity, JJ and his jungle lodge team provided a highly organized and memorable experience.

Our tour guide Victor was fantastic and seemed to know everything about the jungle. We saw lots of animals and often had time to just sit and watch them for 10-15 minutes. Rooms were very basic but at this price you can’t go wrong. Food was terrific and staff/ tour guides were all happy to make adjustments to suit your schedule and preferences. We had a fantastic time.

We saw lots of wildlife including black and white caymans, squirrel and other monkeys, many birds, insects. We had lots of activities and one free afternoon to do your own things and relaxation. We had a wet and rainy canoe morning. The guide was very knowledgeable and helpful.
