    The fun adventure starts just 10 minutes from Amber Cove and 20 minutes from Taino Bay in a small village called Maimon. At the home base you will get your gear and a few safety instructions before you head off into the countryside. The tour starts with driving through the small local village Maimon. You will explore the Dominican nature and culture with a stop at an authentic little cigar rolling shack where you learn about cigars, sample of organic hot chocolate and coffee. There is a stop at a local beach where you can go for a swim if you would like to. Please remember to wear clothes that you don't care about, because you will get dusty and dirty.

The tour itself was great! We drove along some back road country areas in the Dominican Republic. The people we passed as we rode by were very friendly, and it was good to see, donkeys, cows, and the occasional goats grazing. The pace of the tour was ideal, so both beginners, like my sister, and more seasoned TV drivers like myself could enjoy it. I have done this type of activity about five times before, but this was the best tour, yet! There was some rugged terrain, paved streets, mud puddles, rocky areas, small hills, and flat road to drive upon… So you get a good sense of what the ATV could handle, and it was great fun moving from one type of terrain to the other. And the best part of it all, was that the whole tour was about an hour long! Unlike the ATV tours in the US, which are high priced, and you only get to ride for 20 minutes to half an hour. Johnny, the driver, was friendly and helpful to my sister, who had mobility issues, and he spoke and understood English very well. He made us feel safe and comfortable with him, and he made us laugh. Unlike the first two drivers we had in the DR, Johnny's transportation prices were fair and not overly inflated because we were tourists. As a result of his honesty and good attitude, we hired Johnny to take us on all the other tours we went on in the DR, and every where else we had to go... And by the end of our 3 week vacation, we were friends. Another pleasant surprise was that the tour guides took photos and a short video of you, riding the ATV on the tour, and sent it to you, at no charge at the end of the tour. THANK YOU so much! Overall, my sister and my experience on this four wheel ATV tour was great! And I most highly recommend it to anyone seeking a little adventure!

We did the ATV tours with my sister for her birthday and it was a blast!!! Johnny our driver arrived- on time - to pick us up from our hotel and take us to the ATV place. The ride tour was super cool and scenic and about an hour long. Johnny was so funny and friendly and we ended up becoming friends, we hired him to take us to different places around the city and he was always punctual picking us up and we ALWAYS had a great time! I would highly recommend!!!

Waiting for us at the port. Very efficient. No wasted time. Nice tour for beginners. Good photo points. Patient with first timers and got us confident to enjoy the ride.
