Taking a Private Tour of Puerto Plata was a great idea. Our driver was Milton, and he was kind and knowledgeable about the city. We altered the plan, so that we could go up the cable car first to Mount Isabel de Torres to beat the crowd. Also saw the downtown area, Pink Street and Umbrella Street. Milton offered drinks/snacks many times - which was nice. A few drawbacks were that it was difficult to find our driver outside of the port, however another company's representative assisted us in finding Milton. The Amber Museum was okay - but we felt it was a tourists trap to help Milton's "friend" sell us something. We felt very pressured to purchase something.

Fabio our tour guide was great! We enjoyed the cable car, we prayed going up and coming down lol. The tour of the city was great got to eat some delicious local food while taking in the culture of the beautiful city. We had light snack, water etc.. provided by the guide, it was a great day!
