7 waterfalls+typical food

Very well organised with expert guides who at the same time were lots of fun. It was a way better trip than expected,such great fun. We were a bit apprehensive at first about going down the waterfall slides,but it's actually easy and great fun,plus the guides are there to help if needed. Our guide Sammy from Edwin Tours has done the trip a thousand times so made sure everyone was looked after and as I say was good fun and informative. Definitely would recommend Edwin Tours. They also looked after all our bags and phones while on the trip. There was also a light lunch at the end of the trip. The only small criticism would be that we were on a cruise and booked this independently from the ship. Edwin Tours therefore pick up right outside Amber Cove Port itself. It’s about a 15 minute walk from the ship which is no problem,but the instructions could be a bit clearer. Overall would definitely reccomend and once the trip,was booked on Viator Edwin Tours get starlight in touch via WhatsApp to answer any questions you may have. Definitely Reccomended. (Simon Morris)

Memorable experience from start to finish. We picked up the minibus from just outside the main gates to the cruise port so a 20min walk from the ship. Ask anybody and they’ll point you the way to Edwin Tours. This avoided the big cruise buses. The bus guide was fun and informative on the 30min drive to the falls. You can leave any valuables on the minibus which is parked right at the reception and pick up anything you need immediately on your return. Anything you take with you WILL get very wet. You pick up life jacket and helmet and then make a strenuous hike up to the top of the falls. Everybody was nervous before we started but it was a hoot. First steps into the water was a shock and you end up crowded into a small pool where you can’t quite touch the bottom and gain confidence in your life jacket. Then you are escorted down the falls with many having options of slide, ladder or jump. We all chose slide and this was plenty enough exhilaration for us. You do dip under the water at the end of each fall but pop straight back up. Food was very good quality back at reception and an interesting stop at a local store on the way back to the ship. Pretty good experience overall! The value was certainly good versus booking through the cruise line. There is a bit of a walk to get to/from the pickup/drop-off point in Amber Cove. There also seemed to be a little miscommunication within the tour company relative to who was going where in which bus. But it was worked out quickly enough. The stop on the way back was at a small gift shop. The owner was friendly enough, though mildly pushy and followed us around his store.
