It was built from 1854 to 1864 for the Spanish troops established on the island and their families. To complete the experience we will sit in an open air restaurant inside Ballaja to have a conversation around Puerto Rico’s cultural etiquette.

Kaleb was a great tour guide. He shared some historical information about Puerto Rico, provided snacks at a local eatery and we discussed the blessings of world travel.

This tour was excellent. Kaleb was a professional and great communicator before the tour! I was the only one on the tour, and he was very patient with me as I asked questions about Old San Juan. I appreciated that he did not cancel on me like other tours when the minimum number of participants are not met. Kaleb knows a lot about Puerto Rico and its history, and even gave me some of his family background history. I learned a lot on this tour. The food was also fantastic! Kaleb was a true gentleman and waited with me until my Uber picked me up. Book this tour, you will not regret it!
