First the good: 1. Our tour guides( Steve and Rick) were very friendly and safety conscious. I appreciated the detailed instructions on how to best navigate the hike and avoid injury. They suggest wearing cotton socks for grip on the slippery rocks and it helps a lot! 2. The waterfall slides were amazing and worth the precarious journey. 3. Photos are included and Rick took great pictures and videos. 4. The second part of the trip to Luquillo Beach included a light lunch. It was nice to sample some local food. The not so good: 1. As instructed, we arrived at the pick up location 15 minutes before our scheduled 10:00 am departure time. The vans were late! They didn’t arrive until 10:15. We hit the road around 10:30. We made the effort to be on time, they should too. 2. Rick’s phone died after the rainforest portion. He promised to send all the pictures and videos he took for us via WhatsApp. However, he didn’t initially respond to several requests for the images. Because everyone was advised not to bring their phones on the hike I had no personal pictures of this amazing experience. Panicked, I spent a good portion of my last day on vacation emailing, calling and texting Share Puerto Rico and Trip Advisor customer support for assistance. After a lot of back and forth I finally got a response from Rick and received the images the following night. A few hiccups but overall this was a good excursion.

Big rocks to climb on to get there not really easy for everyone! Lots of hiking, slides are in rocks.

Definitely not 18-99, didn’t do the 18-55, thinking this trek would be easier, but path to waterfall was tricky. Beach was great and so was lunch. As well as Dusten our guide, he was great
