Stunning lack of information. I had to ask about what to wear. Everyone got wet, as expected, but there was no proper place to change into dry clothes! It was buggy and everyone got itchy bites, whether we sprayed or no. The trip leader spoke English that was as fast as her Spanish, so I got about every fifth word. That was okay because I am an experienced kayaker, but many were not and had no clue how to control the direction of their kayak.
In terms of organization and communication I would rate "Very Poor." I was bow in the kayak, and was paired with a young woman, who sat is the stern, as she was heavier. We had no time to talk and strategize how to communicate, and the boat ahead of us could not steer! It was chaos. Speaking with another woman, while we were waiting for the bathroom, she had done this kayak tour before, and said that this one was very poorly organized and not fun. Biggest complain: NO PLACE TO CHANGE and the bathroom had a broken toilet, and another toilet that would not flush. Very long lines for the women's bathroom made the experience even worse.
