We had a great time driving up the mountains and exploring the rainforest and beach! Our guide was very fun and energetic. If you've never been to the rainforest, this is a great starter tour! Not too much walking and great knowledge about Puerto Rican history.

Our tour guide Raphael was amazing! He really brought the energy to our group. This is definitely a low key tour, so if you aren't looking for a crazy hike this is great. I would recommend bringing a towel and change of shoes, because the swim in the river is a must do 10/10 experience. It rained on our hike back, so bonus points for packing a pancho... we were totally unprepared.
Luquillo beach was a fun ending, there are places to grab lunch and drinks, but make sure you pack snacks and water for the rest.
My family of 4 had a great time, kids 7 and 10 did just fine. Although my daughter wanted a bit more adventure my son wasn't quite ready for that so this worked out.

I booked this tour for my dad and I. He is not the most athletic or mobile person, so this tour was perfect. The trail we went on was pretty easy, just be cautious of slippery rocks. As our tour guide mentioned, your only chance to use the restroom (porta potties) at the rainforest is at the beginning where you stop at the tower. After the rainforest we went to Luquillo beach area and this is where you have a chance to eat, drink, go to the beach and use the restroom before you journey back. I would recommend booking this took if you want to experience El Yunque without the intense hiking!
