Don’t forget to take home a nice bag of authentic Puerto Rican coffee at an affordable price! It will be also a "baño", an artisan "café" and a quick snack/breakfast stop.

    On this Into The Mountains Hiking Adventure, we will venture into the Door of the Mountain Range of Puerto Rico, enjoying a beautiful panoramic view through the countryside before reaching our exclusive nature reserve. This breathtaking off-the-beaten-path hike, suitable for physically fit people and seasoned hikers alike (LEVEL: MODERATE TO CHALLENGING, STEEP HIKING, HAVE GOOD BALANCE AND RIVER TREKKING SKILLS) will lead us through a well-established path. Emotions come alive as we immerse ourselves into the subtropical forest and venture our way to meet an old centenary native tree at the top of the mountain, more than 300 years old. After that, we will continue our journey, visiting beautiful and unique waterfalls, one of which is 150 feet tall. Before reaching the trail's end, we will stop in a natural pond surrounded by a lush landscape where we will serve Freshly Cut Tropical Fruits. You will get to sit down and unwind in a Private Nature Reserve.

This is our 2nd time taking a hike with Andre (first time, 2 years ago). We returned because it is such a great adventure and a perfect way to see more of PR than just San Juan. Locally farmed coffee and delish authentic mountain lunch are such a treat, but it is the hike in this exclusive preserve that is the draw. Stunning waterfalls, ancient trees - the rainforest is lush and alive, and spending the day seeing it up close is so special. It is not to be missed. Now, as a second-timer, anyone reading this should be sure to READ THE DESCRIPTION OF THE HIKE. It is not for the faint of heart. You will get wet, muddy, sweaty and tired. You will climb steep trails and trek through rocky rivers - you will slip and fall. AND IT IS TOTALLY WORTH IT. Fresh mango and pineapple are a welcomed treat during the hike, where you eat sitting next to a spectacular waterfall. You feel so small in nature and so inspired by it. Andre’s primary goals are to keep you safe and make sure you have fun. He knows so much about PR, the surrounding area, nature and local interests. He has a wonderful personality and is a very capable guide. He checks in with you often to make sure you are OK, if you need a break or if he needs to make hike changes to accommodate the group. We know we’ll see him again next year since this IS such a unique and special excursion. Don’t miss it, but be prepared for a challenging adventure in the mountains. Fortune favors the brave!

Diese Tour war einfach magisch schön: Nach einem Frühstück mit exzellentem Kaffee oben in den Bergen haben wir auf unserer Wanderung an drei Wasserfällen ein Bad genommen und wurden dabei von Andre, dem König aller Tourguides mit frisch geschnittenen Früchten verwöhnt. Der Weg durch das Gelände ist manchmal schon fordernd, aber Andre hat dort wo es schwierig wird Halteseile angebracht und achtet außerdem immer auf alle Gruppenmitglieder. Der Tag war ein absolutes Highlight in jeder Hinsicht! Die Altersbegrenzung bis 60 Jahre hat durchaus ihre Berechtigung; aber auch wenn du jünger bist: ein wenig sportlich solltest du schon sein ;) Wenn du fit bist und deine sportlichen Fähigkeiten richtig einschätzt kannst du natürlich auch mit 60+ teilnehmen. Wir werden diese Tour auf jeden Fall wieder machen – jedes Mal, wenn wir in PR sind :)

We had an amazing 10-hour adventure with André as our guide! The entire experience was unforgettable. André was knowledgeable, friendly, and ensured that everyone in the group had a fantastic time. The hike through the ancient forest was breathtaking, and the hidden waterfalls were absolutely stunning. The views of the Central Mountain Range were incredible, making this tour worth every moment. Highly recommend this for anyone looking to explore Puerto Rico’s natural beauty in a unique and intimate way.
