Amazing guide was very informative and patient with our 4 year old. Don't expect Hawaiian reefs but there were plenty of beautiful fish and other marine life to check out!

As advertised. Joshua was a great guide, and I appreciated the relaxed/informal vibe of the whole thing. Recommend especially for first-timers or those with kids - not so much for those who want a truly in-depth/intense snorkeling experience - but even as someone who didn't really need the snorkel-lesson part, I had a good time. The reefs we explored were teeming with life, more than I expected. The snorkeling was more interesting than the kayaking, which was basically just on open ocean with not much to see, but I still had fun paddling and chatting with Joshua (it was just me and him for the kayaking portion). Do note that the place is about a 5-to-7-minute walk (via sidewalk, not sand) from the beach parking lot; and they provide some snacks in between the kayaking and snorkeling parts, but consider bringing your own if you want something more nutritious than cheez-doodles and oreos.
