There is a very helpful jewelry and watch repairman, Mario, who works on the Insurgentes Bridge over the Cuale River in the Romantica area of old town Puerto Vallarta. Over the last 7 years I have had him repair my watches and change my watch batteries many times. He seems to works there Monday-Saturday from 11 -4pm sitting under an umbrella. He is very competent, and has very reasonable rates. I paid $100 pesos , $5 dollars for a new battery . And around $20 to replace my Invicta movement, a great price All his work has been excellent, speaks English and is very pleasant to work with.

We went to an amazing botanical garden. It was beautiful and private. The tour of the city was very informative and interesting. Our guide had great local knowledge of Mexico and Puerto Vallarta
